So my dd was fertility treatment so finding out I've fallen pregnant naturally with baby No.2 is a bit of a shock! (Over the moon shock!)

DD's name is Grace with quite an unusual middle name, think Aurora but not.

Was thinking of sticking to quite a classic first name but unusual/not so popular middle name.

We have a boys name sorted as this will be a family name, just stuck on a girls name Grin

Any suggestions please? Smile

Unusual:

I’m normally better with unusual names but I’m having a mind block today 🙈

@eatsleepbreastfeedrepeat my partner loves Charlotte but it's one I've never been a fan of haha
I've always loved Callie and Hallie but he isn't a big fan of them

We picked DD's name pretty easily, we see the name and it sort of just 'clicked' I guess haha

GAW19 My first is a Callie and we picked her name straight away and never had any doubt or other names in mind. My second is Briar, we went through so many names and struggled to find the one, she was two weeks old when we eventually decided. The right name will come to you at some point.

Congratulations!

Classic (short-ish, to match Grace) first: Amy, Anna, Daphne, Eve, Faith, Fern, Hope, Isabel, Joy, Juliet, Lea(h), Lucy, Maeve, May, Nina, Paige, Rosa/Rose, Sara(h), Stella, Una, Violet, Zoe.

More unusual middle - is there a family name, first or surname, you could use? Otherwise there are a load of unusual but recognisable girls' names. I like - for example: Aminata, Ariadne, Calista, Cordelia, Cornelia, Evadne, Felicity, Geneva, Genevieve, Ingrid, Isleta, Ismene, Jocelyn, Mariana, Marina, Rosalia, Rosario, Serena.

Juliet Malou
I like Juliet as a classic name and met a girl named Malu recently... Think it's hawaiian for joy or peace or something and I love it though a bit quirky for a first name.

Bubbletrouble43 · 22/07/2020 10:36

Sorry spelt Malu and hawaiian for peace.

Whatsyourflava · 22/07/2020 10:39

How about Lucy or Imogen or Holly for the first name

userabcname · 22/07/2020 11:01

I love the names Elizabeth or Vivienne for a classic choice. More unusual: Celeste, Ursula, Calliope.
