Not a fan myself - Marshmallow, Marshall Mathers, Field Marshall Goering...but I know anyone can pick at any name, so if you like it use it! I would also wonder what her friends would call her - Marsha maybe, which is OK. Or Mar. Or Ally.

What about Marsaili instead? At least it is a girl's name.

This was asked last week! But for a boy. I just think of Eminem, the rapper. His real name is Marshall Mathers apparently. Sounds masculine and I'd never consider it for a girl.
