How many Rafe's do you know?

I asked recently how many Milo's you all knew. It's seems popular. The other name on our shortlist is Rafe so I'd be interested to compare. Thanks

Yankathebear · 20/07/2020 01:15

One. Mid 60’s. Eccentric and charming.

Comefromaway · 20/07/2020 01:18

One. Aged 11.

Anoisagusaris · 20/07/2020 01:25

None, but but in U.K.

Do you pronounce it Ray-fe or Ra-fee

Onestepup · 20/07/2020 06:35

I knew one person who had a baby called Milo.

I've never met a Rafe.

BimbleWimble · 20/07/2020 06:47

None spelt like that.

cattypussclaw · 20/07/2020 06:47

One. And he's a little shit.

Monstamio · 20/07/2020 06:48

ArriettyJones · 20/07/2020 06:49

Didyousaynutella · 20/07/2020 06:51

Two

midnightstar66 · 20/07/2020 07:05

I know of 2 in DD's primary school.

Trumpton · 20/07/2020 07:07

I know one Rafe (40) and one Rafferty (8) . I really like the name .

Anotherthink · 20/07/2020 07:08

None. The thing with popularity of names is it depends on your local area. Lots of the names in the top 20 baby names barely feature in my dcs primary school. There's no point crossing a name off your list because posters on MN say there's loads in a village in Surrey if you're living on Mull

KatherineJaneway · 20/07/2020 07:09

None.

IlanaWexler · 20/07/2020 07:11

One, spelt Raife, pronounced "Rayf" (one syllable)

Whatsyourflava · 20/07/2020 07:30

Never met a Rafe or a Milo
I'm surprised you think Milo was popular based on the replies. Most people only seemed to know one and when you think of how many hundreds of people you "know of", one Milo doesn't seem like many to me. Appreciate it's subjective though and maybe you'd prefer people didn't know any Milo's ( like me)
The problem with Rafe is its very similar to other names like Ralph and that's got much more popular recently. Whilst I don't know any Rafe's, I know a few Ralphs

Dionysus78 · 20/07/2020 07:36

Two, 5 and about 11. And I REALLY don't know many people.

TeaAndHobnob · 20/07/2020 07:41

PotteringAlong · 20/07/2020 08:00

One. He’s 3.

motheroreily · 20/07/2020 08:04

ThedietstartsonMonday · 20/07/2020 08:08

cliffdiver · 20/07/2020 08:09

CeeceeBloomingdale · 20/07/2020 08:11

MamaLoLo1 · 20/07/2020 08:41

Quite a few Rafaels but only one Rafe (a sheepdog)
