Help with name direction

Our second baby is due at the end of the year. Last time round we were set on names from the start (didn't find out the sex in advance) but we've got nothing we love for this baby. First child has an old Welsh name that is unusual but not weirdly so.

Names that have been thrown into the hat:

Victor
Lucien
Tristan

Faye
Audrey
Ffion

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Do you live in a Welsh speaking area?

As I think it is easier to carry off names with some Welsh sounds, where most people speak Welsh.

I like Anwen, Carys, Catrin, Alwen (all of which none Welsh speakers can cope with)

Or Mary works well with your 'older names' leaning, and has been used in Welsh families for centuries without 'sounding' Welsh to none Welsh ears.
Boys - Gareth, Rhys, Dylan, or Idris maybe for more of an outlier ?

@BackforGood We don't live in a Welsh speaking area. Our son's name is a pretty straightforward 'say it as you see it' name.

I love Anwen and Carys, will mull them over. No to Mary though! Seems a bit too plain (and I'm not a fan of the religious link).

Of your girl's names, I love Fay without the e, dislike Audrey and like Ffion very much, but it is popular in Wales.

Victor - know one my age, and he's great. Vic.
Lucien - no, will be Lucy
Tristan - fine, probably the safest choice. Tris.

Anwen and Carys are both dated. Don't really like either of them. I love the name Mary, but you don't.
