Middle name for Cora

I think we're pretty set on Cora as a first name.. current front runner for middle is Alice (as it's a family name) but of course the A's run into each other and 2 x 2 syllable names are not ideal, so we're considering other options..

Criteria are:
3+ syllables (or possibly 1..?)
Doesn't start with A
Ends in a consonant

Only idea so far is Elizabeth but I'm not sold.. Any ideas?

Cora Alice reminds me of 'The Last of the Mohicans' Smile I like Cora Juliet, but it depends on the surname too.

Cora Pearl

Chocolatesmellsfunny · 17/07/2020 20:50

Thanks all! Cora Beth sounds great but I'm pretty sure she's a character from The Waltons Grin

I really like Cora Josephine and Cora Beatrix but sadly DP not so keen..

@LizzieAnt I know Alice is the other sister in Last of the Mohicans (both that ice actually read it..) - do you think that makes it weird?? I can't decide!

Doesn't really fit but Cora linn/lynn is a waterfall in the Clyde it's such a beautiful spot, I've always thought it would be a nice name for a girl.

Ah no, it doesn't make it weird, just reminded me of it really. (I haven't read it either Smile)

ParisOnWheels · 17/07/2020 21:38

Doesn’t meet the criteria but when I saw the thread title my first thought was
Cora Marie

Looking at your criteria, what about Cora Jennifer?

SecondStarFromTheRight · 17/07/2020 21:41

If you like Cora Alice I'd just use that. It's lovely and it's not difficult to say.
