One my OH loves, one I love.
Which one do you prefer?
Surname begins with a 'M'... puts me off having a first name beginning with M too.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Definitely Rosa

Yankathebear · 14/07/2020 18:43

Both are lovely but Rosa is my favourite.

ShesMadeATwatOfMePam · 14/07/2020 18:44

Two completely different names. Id go for a mix of the two with Rosie

Destroyedpeople · 14/07/2020 18:45

Rosa is stylish and cool. Rosa Luxembourg etc

Maisie sounds like a pet orphan cow sorry. I mean come on its a nice 'baby' name but the poor child will be an adult one day as well.

Ducky1900 · 14/07/2020 18:46

@destroyedpeople, that's how I feel about maisie too... Lol
It's a bit too cutesy, and reminds me of a pets name!

They are both lovely names. I prefer Maisie but I think it would depend what your surname is and how similar it sounds, ie Maisie Mason would be a bit much whereas Maisie Miller would sound fine.

devildeepbluesea · 14/07/2020 18:48

Rosa is the most beautiful name in the world and may be my daughter's name

Myneighboursnorlax · 14/07/2020 18:48

Rosa sounds strong, independent and fiery. Maisie sounds cute. Both nice names, but conjure up very different images.

Emelene · 14/07/2020 18:49

Rosa is so beautiful! I probably wouldn't do Maisie M, it's already quite a cute name and an alliteration might push it too far!

laura0390 · 14/07/2020 19:08

Rosa definitely

Ducky1900 · 14/07/2020 19:17

Right so I've 4 months to convince OH to use Rosa 😂 thank you!

Rosa. Elegant, lovely name which will suit an adult as well as a child. Maisie is dumpy and plain, not even cute for a small child and a positive affliction for an adult.

newmum332 · 14/07/2020 19:43

Rosa is beautiful!!

NameChange84 · 14/07/2020 19:45

Rosa is beautiful, much classier than Maisie.

I’ve recently fallen in love with the name Rosanna which is similar.

SociallyDistanced2020 · 14/07/2020 19:48

Rosa. It's my favourite if ever I had a girl.

villainousbroodmare · 14/07/2020 20:08

May is not bad, though.

9522560a · 14/07/2020 20:13

I know a pair of sisters with these two names! I prefer Rosa.

seriousandloyal · 14/07/2020 20:17

Prefer Rosa xx

janetmendoza · 14/07/2020 20:22

Rosa

daisypond · 14/07/2020 20:24

Rosa. But Rose is nicer.

Winifredgoose · 14/07/2020 20:26

100% Rosa. Your husband could call her Rosie as a nick name, which is similar but in my opinion much nicer than Maisie.

IsFuzzyBeagMise · 14/07/2020 20:26

Rosa. It's beautiful.

TempsPerdu · 14/07/2020 20:26

I can’t emphasise enough how much I prefer Rosa to Maisie. It’s strong and classy and elegant and sophisticated vs cutesy, twee and insubstantial as far as I’m concerned!

123Dancewithme · 14/07/2020 23:31

Rosa is so much nicer!

HalloumiSalad · 14/07/2020 23:35

Rosa by a country mile! A name a child can make their own, conjures up a beautiful woman with interesting stories. Maisie is meh for me.
