I understand these names may be popular where you live however they are all family names and not popular where I live..

Just wondering which sounds best - DH thinks Archie Frank

Love the name Theo!
Not exactly what you are asking our opinions on but I’d definitely use Theo as a first name.
Theo Frank?
Theo Archie?

Onestepup · 14/07/2020 16:01

Archie Frank. Archie Theo or Theo Frank would be nice too.

Dazzedandconfused · 14/07/2020 16:03

Theo Vincent is my favourite combo. I don't really like Archie or Frank tbh

user1493494961 · 14/07/2020 16:51

I second Theo Vincent.

Grufallosfriends · 14/07/2020 16:57

Vincent Theodore. Nickname Vinnie.

I really dislike Archie.

babycakes1010 · 14/07/2020 17:00

I have a Frankie Ellis James and Archie Ellis was on our list so would defo vote for Archie Frank

NameChange84 · 14/07/2020 17:04

Theodore Vincent

Or

Vincent Theodore

Sound much better than just the cutesy nicknames. You can then call him Vinnie or Theo or whatever you fancy but he has a “proper” name for his adult life...

Archie or Vinnie at graduation announcements, during wedding vows, if he was a QC or Magistrate etc sounds silly. He’ll need a credible grown up name too.

BatleyTownswomensGuild · 14/07/2020 17:05

Archie Frank flows really nicely

Vinnie Theo seems an odd pairing. 2 totally different style of names. And I'm not keen on Vinnie full stop tbh

poppydaisies · 14/07/2020 17:58

I also vote Vincent Theodore.

Vincent is cool and classy. When he's small you can call him Vinnie.

I find these cutesy nicknames eg Vinnie, Archie, Teddie, Theo cute for a little boy. But please give him the option of a strong grown up name!

Lavenderblues · 14/07/2020 18:00

I don't like Archie at all. And the full name Archibald is even worse!

I would choose Vincent.

Vincent Theodore sounds great!

Shelby762 · 14/07/2020 18:24

@Lavenderblues

I actually really like the full name Archibald and very unlikely that any of the other Archie's are Archibald so gives him the option later on in life if he chose to use it.

Archibald Frank

As nice as Vincent is - Archie as a nn is much nicer sounding than Vinnie imo

@babycakes1010

Frank is my all time favourite so would have loved to have a Frankie myself but one of my best friends beat me to it.
Is he Frankie on the BC? I don't get the whole nicknames aren't proper names...

I know 30/40/50 year olds Frankie's and Archie's

MikeUniformMike · 14/07/2020 19:55

I don't like any of the names.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 14/07/2020 19:57

Archie

SisterAgatha · 14/07/2020 19:59

Ooh I love how old school Italian mafia Vinnie and Frank are.

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 14/07/2020 20:01

I like Theo

Whatsyourflava · 14/07/2020 21:33

Archie Frank is really really nice and sounds like it's the name both of you prefer so I'd go for that! Sorted!

123Dancewithme · 14/07/2020 23:32

Vincent Theodore

agree with this. good, solid, proper names, with a good pedigree. leave it up to the child if he wants a nick-name.
DramaAlpaca · 15/07/2020 00:14

I don't like any of them, sorry, especially Archie and Frank. Two of my least favourite names in one combination, tbh.

I don't mind Vincent, though. So I'd vote for Vincent Theodore, definitely not Vinnie Theo.

babycakes1010 · 15/07/2020 13:22

He's a Frankie on his birth certificate
