summer is nice but its the character in that tv show rick and morty. So consider that .I dont like Sienna it sounds like senna the laxative

20viona · 14/07/2020 08:26

Summer, Sienna is nice but overused. I

20viona · 14/07/2020 08:26

I like sierra!

Ironmanrocks · 14/07/2020 08:41

Like the car or did you spell it wrong? I prefer sienna out of those but if I was going that way I might look up another sun based name... like Aelia or Siria ....depends what you want. Lucy means light...

Orphlids · 14/07/2020 08:48

I prefer Sienna by far. I find Summer quite an ugly sound. It’s the ungainly ‘umma’, I think. I know a woman named Vienna, which I thought was rather good, and more unusual than Sienna.

Shayisgreat · 14/07/2020 08:51

I think they're both so pretty! I prefer Sienna.

LesLavandes · 14/07/2020 08:57

Siena

TimeWastingButFun · 14/07/2020 09:09

Summer out of those two, Sienna always reminds me of a laxative!

TimeWastingButFun · 14/07/2020 09:10

Ooh Vienna is really nice.

iwontfloaaatt · 14/07/2020 09:10

I love both but prefer Sienna. I think it's a bit more unusual than Summer.

TimeWastingButFun · 14/07/2020 09:10

Siena
Noooo... all those spelling corrections for the poor girl over the years...

ZoyaTheDestroyer · 14/07/2020 09:50

Sienna is the pigment and associated colour, which takes its name from Siena, the city in Italy. Sienna is more commonly used as a given name.

How about Sasha?

20viona · 14/07/2020 10:00

@ironmanrocks yes like the car Sierra

Ironmanrocks · 14/07/2020 10:10

I've never heard it as a name!

Whatsyourflava · 14/07/2020 10:32

Both really lovely names
How about Clementine nn Clemmie

Whatsyourflava · 14/07/2020 10:32

Or Felicity?

Whatsyourflava · 14/07/2020 10:33

Martha? Mabel?

MikeUniformMike · 14/07/2020 10:44

Both seem a bit downmarket, sorry.

MikeUniformMike · 14/07/2020 10:46

Sienna is the better of the two.

Scarlett, Susanna or Sarah might be alternatives.

Flappingflamingo · 14/07/2020 11:11

Don't like either sorry

mintich · 14/07/2020 11:15

Sienna

beautifulmonument · 14/07/2020 11:20

Summer

Snowfallst · 14/07/2020 12:58

I like both! Both gorgeous I couldn't choose. I also like Sasha

MikeUniformMike weren't you taught if you have nothing nice to say....don't say it?
The question by Op wasn't to be rude about her two name choices. I really don't understand MN
If it's not your style of name then why comment to just be rude Hmm

Pinkypink · 14/07/2020 13:10

Prefer Sienna.
Also like Sacha as pp suggested

Loveinatimeofcovid · 14/07/2020 13:15

They both sound like the name of a teenage film character. Cute for a child but a bit weird as they get older, can you really imagine a 90 year old called summer?
