Hello, me and DW have decided on Alexander for DS3 (two older brothers are Samuel James and Thomas George) but we would like some middle name suggestions.

Patrick and Charles are two we both like as middle names - but would like to hear some more yet before we decide. Thank you Smile

Personally I would go for one syllable names, as your first two, so Paul, Jack, Charles - you get the idea.

I love Alexander Charles. Patrick is also lovely but i think it goes well in vibe with Alexander but I don’t think they gel well together in sound.

I think you need to go either one syllable and classic like your other boys, or one syllable and a bit different. He's your third, so you can afford to be a bit more out there... Well, that's what I did with my third son's first name - but it only went and got popular recently, dammit Grin

I'm useless at suggestions, but you get my drift I'm sure.

I agree that it should be single syllable - my first name also has four syllables and it's a relief that my middle name has only one!

Alexander Guy
Alexander Hugh
Alexander Luke
Alexander Rhys
Alexander Wayne (ok, maybe not!)

Great bunch of names btw

Boris De Pfeffel...?

I was just about to say the same!

Personally, I would go with Benjamin or Jonathan.

BluebirdsCCFC · 12/07/2020 08:48

@Aquamarine1029 Joseph is wonderful, I don’t know how I hadn’t thought of that before.

@Beck30 I don’t think there’s too much of an issue with that (although I’m not keen on BoJo much though)

Lovely names. Alexander Charles sounds good to me.
