Middle name for Nina?

Just about set on Nina for DD due later thia year (just need to totally convince DP but that can be sorted...) but can't think of middle names!

Our little boy has 2 middle names so probably want the same (I'd have just 1 but DP wants 2). Surname begins with H and 1 syllable. Ideally nothing too common. Don't really have any family names we want to use so just needs to sound right!

Some ideas we've had...
Nina Emilia Grace
Nina Alice Rose

Thanks!

congratulations! I really like both your suggestions. You could also consider Nina Amelia Grace, or Nina Amelia Marie?

Another vote for Nina Emilia Grace, but both are lovely. Congratulations!

I have a Nina!

She is Nina Catherine MyName. Catherine is a family name - all our kids have family middle names.

Are there any family names you can use? I really think it's nice to use middle names that have some sentiment behind them (otherwise I don't really get the point of a middle name/s to be honest, but that is just my opinion).

My DS & DD both have two middle names. DS had both of my grandfathers first names and DD has my and DHs maternal grandmothers first names.

I love Nina BTW, was on my girls list too. It is a really sweet name!

I like Nina, and am another one who thinks why have a middle name unless it is to remember a family member or something like that. Otherwise, it's just a filler and really, most people will never know, or care really, what it is.

I have a Nina , its a perfect name , elegant , classic , original , not many around, i think it needs a short equally classic middle name if one needed.
My Nina has her great nan's name for her middle name the only reason is that i loved my nan so much and she would have adored her .
Iwould not have given her a middle name otherwise .

Heh1991 · 12/07/2020 23:11

Emilia Grace!

I think Nina sounds better followed by a longer middle name as a short one sounds too stilted Nina Alice Rose sounds almost like three girls together but doesn’t flow that well in my opinion.

Nina Emilia Grace is gorgeous though.

Thanks everyone ☺

We don't really have any family names we want to use but my DS has 2 middle names so want to keep them similar!
