Lovely strong name, though maybe avoid if your surname's Higgins!

Horrid Henry.

Sorry.

daisypond · 09/07/2020 23:39

I like it a lot.

Orphlids · 09/07/2020 23:42

I love it. We nearly chose it for our son. The only thing that puts me off is the fact it’s now so very popular, but if this isn’t something that bothers you, then it’s a really wonderful choice.

123Dancewithme · 09/07/2020 23:51

Lovely.

MikeUniformMike · 10/07/2020 00:03

It's fine. Classic.

CookieDoodles · 10/07/2020 05:55

Love it!

sweetnosugar · 10/07/2020 06:51

It’s lovely!

Absolutely lovely classic name. V popular, especially if combined with Harry, but most people seem to treat these as two separate names now. I know a lovely little Henry who is known as Hal.

Grufallosfriends · 10/07/2020 07:36

I'm not keen on Henry. I think it's the hen part. And Hal reminds me of halitosis.

YourStarlessEyes · 10/07/2020 07:39

I like it!

derekmorgan · 10/07/2020 07:42

I have a nearly 2 year old Henry. I love his name! It was my Grandads name so it has a family connection for us. Even if we didn't I'd still love it.
I hadn't heard of the nickname Hal though, i might start using that!

newmum332 · 10/07/2020 08:29

I really like it! It was on my list too.

I love it. It's very old. Shakespeare uses it to distinguish Prince Hal from his future self as Henry V and his father Henry IV in several of his history plays.
Magicbabywaves · 10/07/2020 10:32

It always makes me think of a pompous, red faced man.

Iwalkinmyclothing · 10/07/2020 11:00

Lovely. Works for a baby, a little boy, a teenager, a young man, a middle aged man... you get my drift ;)

AnnieMaul · 10/07/2020 11:22

It's a nice name, but I do immediately think of the hoover. Perhaps because we have one?

I wish companies would not give their products human names Hmm
