Im really struggling deciding between these names:
Oscar Alexander (last name)
Noah James (last name)
Christopher Jace (last name)

Im not dead set on the middle names, its just the first name im struggling with, any opinions are appreciated, even if its just with a different middle name

As per most pps - Alexander and James are great names, Christopher is fab but Chris is not. Jace is dreadful. Oscar is ok but Noah is just so overused and bland.

Christopher will for sure be shortened, what would you shorten it to?

Oscar is nice.

Christopher James or Christopher Alexander are lovely. Not keen on Oscar.

userabcname · 08/07/2020 18:12

I vote Oscar Alexander. I also like Noah James. I went to school with about a thousand Christophers so that name sounds a bit dated to me.

MrsEricBana · 08/07/2020 18:15

Christopher James, nn Kit/CJ

Dinosauraddict · 08/07/2020 18:35

Oscar Alexander would be my vote!

Onestepup · 08/07/2020 18:38

Find Christopher in the same vein as John, Andrew, David i.e. very very dull, uninspiring, over used. Middle aged men names. Oscar is my favourite, far stronger and more unique.

lymphopenia · 09/07/2020 12:38

Oscar Alexander is lovely Smile

Dyra · 09/07/2020 14:28

Heh. Christopher James is my brother's name. I can only approve.

My personal favourite is Oscar Alexander though.

POP7777777 · 09/07/2020 14:33

Noah James 😁

FizzyGreenWater · 10/07/2020 16:33

It's just boring and dated OP. Like Mark, Paul, Rob. bit of a dad name!

Christopher is classic but there's definitely a move to shorten to Kit, which is lovely.

Nothing actually 'wrong' with Chris but could you imagine a toddler Chris? Grin

FizzyGreenWater · 10/07/2020 16:35

It would be like Steve Grin

It's going to be a decade or more until the nurseries are populated by Mark, Chris, Steve and Dave again!

Quizeerascal · 10/07/2020 16:45

Christopher is lovely, perhaps a little dated but classic. Oscar and Noah are lovely although quite popular if that bothers you. Alexander and James are great, solid, classic names but Jace just doesn't seem to fit with your other options.

Alongcameacat · 11/07/2020 00:33

Jace fits with Noah imo ^^

Is Christopher a classic? Really? I think Chris is pretty awful, marginally less awful on a woman I suppose.

Agar58 · 11/07/2020 20:43

Noah james.
