Lilah-Rae is a gorgeous name. What about Lilah-Rae Zara? congratulations!

Poppydaisies · 07/07/2020 16:29

Lilah-Rae Maya

Lilah-Rae Joy

Any family names you could use?

ChlOeWh · 07/07/2020 16:38

Thankyou 🥰

I'm not to sure on using family names as my Nan was called Rhoda Doreen and I got the Doreen in my middle names and got bullied for it haha and my other half's gran has the middle name Naomi but I'm not sure if that goes with Lilah-Rae also my mum has Anne and we've all got old-ish fashioned names 😂 xx

Lilah-Rae Rhoda works, I think.

ChlOeWh · 07/07/2020 16:42

Yeah I did think that, it kind of just rolls off the tongue doesn't it? ☺️ I did say the dad could pick the middle name but she's gonna end up with Paul or something ridiculous as he doesn't take it seriously 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

I think I'm looking to stay away from family names atm just due to not trying to upset anybody as I know it probably would 🙄😂 xx

ah, that might be sensible if it would cause upset.

ChlOeWh · 07/07/2020 16:47

It's just hard to find a name that goes nicely and rolls off the tongue xx

sleepismysuperpower1 · 07/07/2020 16:51

well, Rhoda rolls off the tongue because of the double R sound with Rae and Rhoda. So maybe some R names might suit?

Lilah-Rae Rebecca
Lilah-Rae Riley
Lilah-Rae Reagan
Lilah-Rae Rose

ChlOeWh · 07/07/2020 17:03

They're actually really lovely suggestions, I'm so picky I don't know whether to go for the R option because it rolls off the tongue or keep looking to choose an unusual or uncommon name!

Are any other mums like this? 😂😂 xx

I was the same! In the end I just went with one we liked the sound of, rather than focussing on an unusual name x

Ricekrispie22 · 07/07/2020 18:28

Lilah-Rae Matilda
Lilac-Rae Lucy
Lilah-Rae Louise
Lilah-Rae Alexis
Lilah-Rae Leonie
Lilah-Rae Juno

Does she NEED a middle name with a double-barreled first name? I feel like, what is essentially 3 names, is a bit over-kill. And everyone will end up shortening her name to Lilah anyway.

TooBusyBeingYoursToFall · 10/07/2020 13:27

@zingally I agree.

I don't like double barrelled names but if she's going to have one, I don't think a middle name is necessary. It becomes a bit clunky.

MikeUniformMike · 11/07/2020 20:14

I'd just have a first name and a middle name with no hyphen.

Agar58 · 11/07/2020 20:29

I like alot of the suggestions. Especially ricekrispies22.
Really lovely name

Babs709 · 11/07/2020 20:33

Do you want an unusual middle name or do you want to go mainstream (Rose, Grace, Elizabeth, Marie)?

Babs709 · 11/07/2020 20:36

Rhoda means rose in Greek so you could go Lilah-Rae Rose. Linda Cardellini has a daughter called Lilah-Rose.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 11/07/2020 21:43

Lilah-Rae Frances
Lilah-Rae Isabella
Lilah-Rae Jasmine
Lilah-Rae Paige
Lilah-Rae Beth

DramaAlpaca · 11/07/2020 23:07

I much prefer Lilah Rae, no hyphen, no other middle name. You can still use both names together.

SilverOtter · 11/07/2020 23:46

I actually think Lilah-Rae Naomi sounds niceSmile

Onestepup · 12/07/2020 09:54

Lilah-Rae Imogen
Lilah-Rae Pearl
Lilah-Rae Seren
Lilah-Rae Olivia
Lilah-Rae Megan
Lilah-Rae Poppy
Lilah-Rae Jessica
Lilah-Rae Natasha
