What do you think of the name Oscar Hawes?

I love Oscar as the first name Hawes is the surname. Does it flow?

Yes, it flows. Oscar is a lovely name.

Getting technical here, but Oscar only has two syllables and Hawes has just the one. If you are considering middle names as well, perhaps something with a few syllables would work well. For example..

Oscar William Hawes

I can hear ask a horse now, but would never have thought of it if I met someone called Oscar Hawes!! Sounds fine to me.

It sounds like Oscar Whores, ie, desperate starlets, to me (I'm really, really sorry). But this probably isn't something most normal people would hear when they heard the name, so if you really love it, go with it. Most names have some kind if ?!?! factor, if you look hard enough.

Awful. Sorry but your surname doesn't lend itself to Oscar. Having a middle name is irrelevant as it won't be used. I hear 'ask a whores' too
