Too similar?

We are expecting twins (1 of each - feeling so blessed!)
Jacob Is the current favourite for a boy but his cousin (currently 9mo) would be James (Jamie) is it too similar?

Would also love opinions on our other possible choices too.

I like Jacob and Lucas.

In origin, Jacob and James are the same www.behindthename.com/name/james

But today they are used as different names, and so most people don't worry about the connection.

Elijah - not keen, seems babyish and too long
Ethan - ok, but will he be E or Eth?

Girl names:
Lois - fine
Bonnie - forever linked with Stan by Eminem but ok
Penelope (Penny) - fine, but I don't really see the appeal
Ella - a bit nothingy
Rosie - nice

I'd go for Rosie

Jacob is fine, presumably if shortened it'll be to Jane not Jay so it's fine. Out of your girls I like Penelope the best
