So I've had this question for a while now. I've been thinking about boys names for the whole time I've found out baby's sex. I've been stuck on the name Haider for a few weeks.
The reason why it might sound unusual is because it's a muslim name and I was wondering how you'd pronounce it?
The actual pronunciation is Hay-der with the D being a soft D rather than a hard D (as in Day). I wanna know how it sounds to a native english speaker! Does it sound like "heather" if someone told you their baby's name was Hay-der with a soft d?
