Adam?

What do people think of this name? His three brothers are Tom/Thomas, Ted/Edward and Alex/Alexander. However, DH is Sam/Samuel, and we were perhaps thinking that Sam and Adam sound too similar which could cause confusion. Thanks, Caitlin

I like the name, unfortunately I haven't met an Adam who wasn't a tosser.

Nothing like Sam IMHO.

It's a name that's grown on me over the years (I think there was a naughty one at primary school that put me off it!) and it goes well with your other names as solid timeless names. My only comment would be that they all have a shortened version / nickname and Adam wouldn't.
What about Benjamin / Ben?

@emmathedilemma I see what you mean - I don’t think that should be too much of an issue. On your suggestions - I like Bill as a shortening of William but not Will. I’ve always found Benjamin/Ben a bit “wet”, not sure why?

My brother (nearly 40) is an Adam. It was a popular name once. Time to bring it back!

I really like Adam. I can’t understand why there are so few Adams around. Not similar at all to Sam. I would imagine Adam to be steady, manly, kind and rather gorgeous.
