I'm starting the fall in love with the name Phoebe.
It came to me in a dream and ever since then I keep thinking that it might just be the perfect name.

However..... I'm a little bit concerned regarding miss-spelling of the name. Is it one of those names nobody will ever be able to spell? Always receiving cards with name spelt wrong?

The other options we have are Chloe (but may not be able to use), Poppy and Martha.

Thank you.

Phoebe is one of those names that I LOVE, but could never use.

I have a Martha. We're so happy with the choice. Feels perfect for us.

Love Love Love Phoebe. Yes it might get misspelt but as others have said so are other easier names to spell. There's so many variations of say Amy. Amie, Aimee etc

Go for it. It's a lovely, not overused name. Maybe Phoebe with Martha as middle name as I love that one too Smile

My eldest is Phoebe and occasionally it gets misspelt but not often enough to be an issue, and probably no more than any other name.

I think my name is relatively easy to spell but even that had been written down as 'Loosey' in the past.

I wouldn't let it deter you.

Love it

Phoebe is a lovely name, its classic and Biblical. Although people may occasionally misspell it it's an established name with consensus on the spelling so there shouldn't be too much confusion. It's not like naming a child Jessyka and then being frustrated when people 'misspell' it as Jessica for instance.
