The surname is Morrison, middle name will be George or James. Will shorten to Sam/Dan respectively. Thanks Smile

Tough choice. Both names are lovely.

DramaAlpaca · 15/06/2020 23:18

Daniel for me. Daniel James.

Ellmau · 16/06/2020 00:21

Daniel James.

IckleBear · 16/06/2020 09:20

Daniel James.
And Daniel Morrison sounds lovely!

CMMum88 · 16/06/2020 09:31

Samuel is lovely.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 16/06/2020 09:32

Daniel

sunrainwind · 16/06/2020 09:34

I really like Sam(uel) and it has the edge for me but also really like Daniel - not so keen on just Dan, especially when small.

redwoodmazza · 16/06/2020 09:36

Love them both.

babynamelover · 16/06/2020 09:38

Samuel George. I've taught two lovely Sam's not heard it much lately. Just seems like a good honest name.

Nachonacho · 16/06/2020 09:41

Samuel for sure! Sam / Sammy are lovely for short! Either middle names work too Smile

Larkspurandhollyhocks · 16/06/2020 09:52

Samuel much nice than Daniel Smile

finallychangedmyusername · 16/06/2020 10:03

Both are wonderful, two of my top boys names. Tough choice! Today I'll say Daniel... or Samuel... Grin

emilybrontescorsett · 16/06/2020 11:07

I would have said Daniel but Daniel Radcliffe has annoyed me so much recently it's tarred the name.

Carouselfish · 16/06/2020 18:23

Sam Morrison runs into each other because of the m.
Prefer Daniel.

SnowdropFox · 16/06/2020 21:05

Daniel James is a lovely

FlossieTeacakesFurCoat18 · 16/06/2020 21:08

I love both names but people aren't generally going to use his middle name, and it will inevitably get shortened so.... Dan Morrison is better, as Sam Morrison is harder to say, if you see what I mean... The double m in the middle

Whatsyourflava · 16/06/2020 22:30

Love both- such great choices ! Let us know which you pick

BeMorePacific · 16/06/2020 23:25

Love Samuel.
Quite like Danny, but I’m not a fan of Dan xx

MrsGilly1 · 18/06/2020 06:08

Samuel X

MikeUniformMike · 18/06/2020 10:17

I like both and both Dan and Sam. I know 2 brothers with these names and Sam is the elder of the two. I know more Dans than Sams.

Dan Morr.. sounds slightly better than Sam Morr.., but of the two I prefer Sam.

Blursula · 18/06/2020 11:37

Samuel, because I much prefer Sam to Dan (which feels a bit dated IMO)

BuffaloCauliflower · 18/06/2020 11:38

I haven’t heard of any young Samuels in ages. I think less used than Daniel, there still seems to be a lot of those

RosieLemonade · 21/06/2020 22:04

Both are lovely names.
