Sibling for Willow?

WillowAndSprinkle · 15/06/2020 14:34

Hello!
I am currently pregnant with my second baby, so we are trying to think of names. We don’t know the gender of baby.
We have a daughter called Willow, so I don’t really want another “W” name.
I like nature inspired names, and love Iris for a girl but DP isn’t sure!
Any suggestions would be welcome Smile thank you!

Iris is lovely.

Lots of nature names for girls. Rose, Pearl, Jasmine, Lily, Clover, River , Winter, Holly, wren

Clementine nn Clemmie I really like

For boys it's more tricky on the nature theme. River is unisex.
Rowan is also unisex but increasingly getting used for girls in US and Scotland so same trend could eventually happen here. I'm not keen on similarity to Roman, Ronan, Rohan and all those other trendy names though. Makes it less special.

How about Asher it Ash?
Oakley ?
Cole?
I love Jasper which is a gem stone.
Griffin I think is a nature name

For a girl Iris is lovely and also Fern or Heather.

For a boy Oakley would go well and some reason I think Seth and Elis work too.

Congrats x

I think the name Daichi could be suitable, it means Great Land and Earth and can be both male and female. Daichi is a beautiful and unique name and goes well with Willow Halo
