Our baby boy (PFB) is due on 22nd June and we are struggling to choose a name for him. Currently thinking that we will have a list of perhaps 3 or 4 options and then choose which suits him when he’s born. I’d love to hear from others who have done this as everyone I’ve asked in real life seems to have chosen names for their children months in advance!
At the moment our 3 potential options are Alexander, Joel and William. Middle name is likely to be Howard after one of our grandparents.
Our surname is a bit tricky to match with - starts with a hard ‘C’ so names ending in a c/ck don’t really flow e.g. Luke, Isaac. Surname also has an ‘oo’ sound so again names with the same sound don’t work e.g. Hugo, Rufus.
Any suggestions, opinions on our current choices or thoughts on not being settled on a name until after we meet him would be very much appreciated! Thanks
