Saul?

I posted previously about some suggestions for DC4. We decided on a girls name but still undecided for a boys name. DH and I quite like the name Saul, we have 3DC already called Jude, Levi and Ezra and think it goes quite well. Wdyt?

I'm biased as I have one but we love it Smile
Lots of positive comments about the name, sometimes people are a bit confused about how to pronounce/spell but we just said "like Paul but with an S".

@CakeCakeCake21 does the better call Saul reference make it an issue? I’m not sure if it’s well known enough that everyone will make that connection

I would think of Better Call Saul, but mainly because I'm in the middle of watching it. I think it's a nice name and definitely goes with the others.

It's a bit American Gothic (as in the painting) or like a character from Emmerdale but why not. Interesting name.

We like Seth but it will be pronounced ‘Sef’ by most of the family so that puts me off it. Love Samuel but not Sam. Elijah seems too close to Ezra for me and Noam isn’t to my taste

It’s fine! @CakeCakeCake21, we’ve watched it too and I really liked the name when we watched it. Just not sure if it’s a bad connotation

Just sharing other ideas I thought you might like based on your other boys' names but Saul is absolutely lovely.

@backseatcookers I like Caleb but I prefer Saul, love Joshua but not Josh, the same with Zachary, Leo is lovely but I think too close to Levi and we have a Jacob in the family!
