Please help with some ideas!

I'm the very last one in my circle of friends to have a baby, and it does mean so many of my potential favourite names have been taken!

My absolute favourite is Flora (for a girl) but dp doesn't like it. I also love Isabella and Eleanor but two close friends have DDs with those names.

For boys, I like Nicholas and Edward but I'm struggling generally to come up with a boys name I love.

Help!

For a boy I like Nicholas or how about Quentin?

Clara is pretty - I bet DP won't go for it though.

I'm not sure about Quentin, it might be a bit too unusual? (I'm really picky, sorry!)

Nora? We quite liked this and Flora, but it rhymes with another one of our children’s names so was off the table. Some other names we liked, as you and I agree on Flora:

I personally would just choose the name you like. What's the big deal about friends kids having the same names? They're your friends, your child will make their own friends some of whom will probably have the same name. You might lose touch with the friends. It's only a temporary coincidence.
