What is your honest opinion on the name “Victoria Jovielle”? (We live in Canada so a french middle name would work.)

Plus it can be shortened to Victoria Jo. I want to include the name Jo for sentimental reasons & am open to other ideas including boys names that sound cute for girls or unisex names that flow well with Jo . Thanks for your time & effort.

I think Victoria Jovielle is a lovely name however I don’t think anyone would automatically shorten a middle name, that seems a bit odd to me. If you like Jo I would just go with Victoria Jo on its own. Or could you go with Jovielle Victoria and shorten the first name to Jo?

I really like it. Very pretty. Smile

I like it Smile

I prefer just Jo. Jovielle sounds like birth control or tampons. Victoria Jo sounds stronger and prettier.

Is Jovielle a French name, or is it meant to sound like jovial, meaning happy or cheery?

Either way, I think it sounds like a happy name.

Sorry, I'm with Sia on this one

Its lovely but a bit long, though maybe that doesnt matter if you're not using the middle name every day?

DramaAlpaca · 01/06/2020 18:27

I think it's a really beautiful name.

Toilenstripes · 01/06/2020 19:07

If you want to use Jo, I think Josephine is much lovelier.

seasidestarfish · 01/06/2020 19:21

I like it but I think she’ll end up being Vicky to other people and not Victoria Jo like you’re hoping

Blursula · 01/06/2020 20:06

It’s nice, but I prefer Jovie
