What do you think of the following combinations:

Sienna Evelyn
Grace Evelyn

I wanted somethings slightly more unique for the first name but these are the only two I feel any sort of connection with at the moment. Open to other suggestions, my previous thread was really helpful.

Middle will be Evelyn after my grandmother.

Both sound fine to me. I prefer Sienna myself, but it would be nice to see Grace used as a first name for a change, it's so often used as a middle.

SamanthaS89 · 31/05/2020 17:50

Sienna Evelyn is a bit of a tongue-twister if you say it all together (or at least it was for me!) Think it's the multiple "eh" and "n" sounds all together. Think Grace Evelyn flows better.

sawollya · 31/05/2020 17:51

I prefer Grace.

Melonportal · 31/05/2020 17:53

I like both but I don't think Sienna goes as well with Evelyn.

joystir59 · 31/05/2020 17:55

Sienna Evelyn is horrible. Sienna anything is horrible.

ScrimpshawTheSecond · 31/05/2020 17:56

Sienna Evelyn is tricky to say, cause of the double vowel. Siennaevelyn. Not bad!

ByGrabtharsHammerWhatASavings · 31/05/2020 18:02

Are you set on Evelyn as a middle name? It's the nicest of the 3 in my opinion. Evelyn Grace would be gorgeous. Grace Evelyn is my next choice. Sienna Evelyn last of all I'm afraid. Sienna is a nice name but as others have said the "ah" and the "eh" sounds just don't work next to each other.

3rdNamechange · 31/05/2020 18:06

I agree with pp. Evelyn Grace is lovely , could be Evie ?

Crabbo · 31/05/2020 18:06

I like both Sienna and Grace (prefer Sienna), I don’t think either of them really go with Evelyn though.

Spied · 31/05/2020 18:07

I love Grace.

If you are set on Evelyn though then I think Evelyn Grace flows better than Grace Evelyn.
I don't like Sienna with Evelyn at all.

IncrediblySadToo · 31/05/2020 18:12

Grace Evelyn is nice

Evelyn Grace is even nicer (but would be Evie here)

I don't like Sienna at all (sorry)

Prettylittlelady · 31/05/2020 18:16

If it makes any difference Evelyn is being pronounced as Eve-Lin as this is the way my Grandmother’s name was said.
I’m really not a fan of Evie which is the natural nickname for this name so that’s why it’s not in the first name place.

Love Sienna

Dislike Grace...no idea why it's so popular...it's such a wet name.

LolaGrace · 31/05/2020 18:20

Sienna Grace sounds better

Prettylittlelady · 31/05/2020 18:21

Gosh...really mixed opinions on both Sienna and Grace.

If there’s any suggestion of what would sound nice with Evelyn in the middle I’d love to hear them. X

Prettylittlelady · 31/05/2020 18:22

The middle name isn’t really negotiable as it’s after someone who’s really special to me.

devildeepbluesea · 31/05/2020 18:23

I think both are fine but neither first name is very unique, lots and lots of Siennas and Graces around here. Nice names nonetheless. Evelyn is beautiful, why not use it as a first name?

devildeepbluesea · 31/05/2020 18:26

Possible first name alternatives:

Alice
Honor
Anna
Clara
Matilda
Iris

daisydukes7576 · 31/05/2020 18:37

Sienna, I don't like grace I think it's too frilly

trinity0097 · 31/05/2020 18:41

Go with whatever you like, a middle name is never used or said after you have told everyone what their name is!

zombiepara · 31/05/2020 18:44

I prefer Grace Evelyn, as when I was saying Sienna Evelyn it ends up being a "Sienna Revelyn" because of the double vowel..

Other options could be
Abigail Evelyn
Frances Evelyn
Hazel Evelyn
Judith Evelyn
Lois Evelyn
Margaret Evelyn
Mabel Evelyn
Margot Evelyn
Miriam Evelyn
Saffron Evelyn

EveryoneLoves09876 · 31/05/2020 18:46

Prefer Grace Evelyn, but wouldn't see it as unique

babycakes1010 · 31/05/2020 18:49

Sienna

Roselilly36 · 31/05/2020 18:50

I love both choices OP, I love the name Evelyn too 👍

mum2jakie · 31/05/2020 18:52

Both are beautiful but I'd probably plump for Grace.
