I think you switch it up. Basically swap the sexes and look up the meanings of the names. Eg roy could also be rori, reina, raya, ruby or basically anything meaning red or royal. Patricia is obviously Patrick but I’m sure there are other variations.

Mucklowe · 20/05/2020 13:27

They're all kind of clunky. Emily Patricia is probably the only decent one.

Kelcat9494 · 20/05/2020 13:33

That's fair (Patricia, Rebecca and Roy would all be middle names) they'd go by their first name obviously

I love Adelaide Patricia! My nan was also called Patricia so I have a real soft spot for that name. I like Henry Roy for a boy, although feel like maybe a longer first name works better? How about Alexander Roy, Benjamin Roy, Cameron Roy, Jonathan Roy

Awbu · 20/05/2020 13:37

Love Henry Roy 💕not keen on the others.
I like Patricia for first name is that not an option as Patricia Roseanne is lovely

DesiDiva2020 · 20/05/2020 13:39

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Are you American?

Quitthat · 20/05/2020 13:40

Megan Rebecca
Henry Roy

Lovely names! Though you'll change your mind a million times before the baby arrives ;) (and hormones will make you consider some crazy things!)

Congratulations!

emmathedilemma · 20/05/2020 14:04

The only first names I'd use of those are Emily and Henry.

DoctorBambino · 20/05/2020 14:27

These all sound quite American to me. I love Callie and Adelaide as well as Hudson. Congratulations!

daisypond · 20/05/2020 16:18

Roseanne and Henry are great.
Not keen on Maddison or Hudson.

Adelaide Patrica - like this
Emily Patricia - Emily is very popular.
Rosanne Patricia - prefer Rosanna, nn Rosie. That would be my favourite.
Megan Rebecca - meh
Maddison Patricia - not keen. If I must, would spell with one 'd'
Callie Rebecca - Like this

Not keen on any of your boys' names, but I like Roy.

LotusClover · 20/05/2020 17:16

Adelaide - love (favourite)
Emily - love, classic and pretty
Rosanne - I prefer Rosanna but this is still lovely
Megan - quite like
Maddison - sounds masculine to me, not keen
Callie - love

I'm not a fan of Patricia or Rebecca.

Henry - classic and timeless, but a bit boring
Hudson - quite like
Marc - love
Ryan - basic, common and boring

Quite like Roy as a middle name.

123Dancewithme · 20/05/2020 17:30

I like Adelaide Patricia and Rosanne Patricia. I would choose a longer name for a boy if you’re having Roy as the mn.

17caterpillars1mouse · 20/05/2020 18:39

Love Adelaide. Patience could be a cute middlename to honor Patricia too just incase your looking for something different

I like Henry but with Roy they all sound a bit blunt. Love Marcus if yo wanted something slightly longer

BabyLlamaZen · 20/05/2020 18:41

First letter of surname? Can look at initials and also how it sounds. Tbh first name is most important as you hear that all the time.

Sittingontheveranda · 21/05/2020 01:26

Callie and Henry are the only first names I'd use from your list.

That said, I find Callie a bit 'nickname' ish. I'd use the name Calista on the birth certificate.
