Decision time for boys' names

We found out we're having a boy last week, which we're both delighted about except that we've found deciding on a boy's name so much harder than girl's...

At the moment Kit and Ellis are our front-runners for first names and the middle name will probably be Bernard (after my grandfather) or Harry if he's born on a particular date (DP's grandfather's birthday). Our surname is 1 syllable and begins with W.

Thoughts? Any brilliant names that might knock Kit or Ellis off the top spot? We're after something known and easy to spell, but not common.

Kit and Ellis are two of my very very favourite names 😍❤️😍! I really don't want to suggest anymore names as I love them both so much!!

When I read the title I assumed the little one was here and you needed to register him!
You've got plenty of time and you'll probably change your mind several times beforehand.

Kit and Ellis are good names. I'd pick Ellis personally.

I much prefer Kit to Ellis.

I'd pick Ellis. Kit is likely to be overpopular and has a Rooney vibe.
Bernard is nice.

Ellis is lovely and goes well with Bernard. There's also Eli/Elijah.

I know 2 Kits under 2 but not sure if either of them are short for Christopher.

Rex could be added to the list. But you've got two fine names. Which one to choose though? That's a tough decision. I really like your middle name too!
