Ellen or Callie or suggestions please...

Ellen or Callie? Really unsure!!

My first daughter is Eden.

Any alternative suggestions welcome but not ending in "a" due to surname.

I have a close friend called Ellen. Most people call her Elle. Callie reminds me of Grey’s Anatomy but I think they’re both lovely names!

Callie by about a million miles.

Ellen is just about the frumpiest name I can think of, and it's too similar to Eden (which is lovely, by the way).

Ellen is nice but Eden and Ellen is hard to say.

Callie is pretty and unusual.

I like both but Callie is much nicer, and goes better with Eden (which I also really like).

Callie is vastly superior to Ellen, but it's a nickname. Ordinarily I'd suggest Callista but you said no -a ending so... Calliope ? Callixte/Calliste?

Much prefer Callie. I also like Eden & Skye together.

Callie just doesn't sound like a real name to me, more like a schoolyard nickname....

Eden and Callie is lovely together, Eden and Ellen is a bit too samey.

Don’t like Callie at all. Ellen was top of our list of our eldest had been a girl shortened to Nellie/Nell. But think Ellen and Eden would be a bit too similar.

I know three people with dogs called Callie. Ellen/Ellie is nicer.

Think Ellen is too similar to Eden and having the same initial will be a pain.

Callie is pretty. I would use as a nn for something. Caroline? Kayleigh?

Callie is nice as is hallie. Agree that Ellen is frumpy.

I know an Ellyn which is a nicer variation of Ellen. The only Ellen I know is frumpsville personified.
Callie is lovely, I like Callisto if you wanted a full name option but Callie is fine on its own.
