Cassie?

What are your thoughts on the name Cassie? I like it but just not 100% sure, would love some opinions.

I like it! Would you have it as the full name or short for eg Cassia/Cassandra?

It's a nickname for Cassandra or Cassidy.
I don't like Cassandra very much.
I quite like Cassidy.

I like it, it's very pretty and you don't hear it much these days. I'd use it as a nickname for Cassidy or Cassandra, but it works just fine as a name by itself.

I LOVE Cassie. It’s on my list. Personally I would just use it as is, I don’t think it needs a longer version. It’s much nicer than Cassandra or Cassidy

Very bias as my name is Cassie and not short for anything, which I like as I'm not keen on Cassandra.

I like it and think it’s better on its own rather than a shortened version of Cassidy or Cassandra, neither of which are nice names

I adore the name Cassia. So elegant and Cassie naturally comes as a nickname.

Very pretty and not super common. An established name and lovely as is. Doesn't feel like it's half a name as some -ie ending names do.

I love it. Quite popular in Australia I think, which makes me less likely to use it (our older child’s name is also quite Aussie, and we are not!). Makes me think of outdoorsy surfy girl. Can be a nickname for Carys as well which I love.

It’s also a nickname for Catherine. My great aunt was Catherine known as Cassie. But I like it just as it is.

Like Cassie but the only longer version I like is Cassia. All the others seem dated to me.

It has an unpleasant hissy sound, and is always the name given to mean or horrible girls in books.
