Just had one of those really spooky moments..... clicked on this thread and as it was loading the name Harlow came into my head, I've no idea why and then it was on your list!!
Maybe it's a sign!
I love the name Indie!

finallychangedmyusername · 15/05/2020 23:59

Tabitha and Eliza are my favourites

DramaAlpaca · 16/05/2020 00:20

Florence and Penelope are my favourites and Eliza is OK too.

Indie and Eden, not my style.

Tabitha is awful on a human, it's a cat name to me.

Harlow is really bad.

123Dancewithme · 16/05/2020 00:23

Tabitha is my favourite.

Maybelatte · 16/05/2020 14:41

I love Tabitha and Penelope.

MikeUniformMike · 16/05/2020 14:58

Tabitha - not keen, seems a bit prissy
Harlow - Town in Essex. Sounds too similar to Arlo. How about Billericay?
Indie - ok but I think of it as a newspaper or type of band
Eliza - fine
Penelope - ok
Eden - awful
Florence - ok

I would bin Eden and Harlow.
Indie seems very different to the others, so either pick it or don't.

Lots of threads about the name Indie.

spacepoppers · 16/05/2020 16:08

Florence is lovely.

Please don't call her Eden. I know one and the references to her 'garden' is relentless.

Olthe · 16/05/2020 16:43

Thank you for the help! I also didn’t know Harlow is a place in Essex, I’ve just heard a cute little girl named it and she really suited it.

Tabitha - ok but reminiscent of cats for some reason!
Harlow - Take it or leave it. But it's not the nicest part of London...
Indie -Works for both genders, which can also be a neg
Eliza - old-fashioned
Penelope - even more old-fashioned and Penny is ugh
Eden - pretty and different
Florence - nice, a bit middle-class

CeeceeBloomingdale · 16/05/2020 16:51

Tabitha - quite like it
Harlow - don't like this at all
Indie - no to Indie, OK as a shortening of India, but not in it's own right
Eliza - I like this
Penelope - OK
Eden - I like this
Florence - not my cuppa

Sparklypurpleunicornsaremyfav · 16/05/2020 17:04

I only like tabitha, Eliza and Florence, penelope at a push but a very definite no to Harlow, indie and eden

Quizeerascal · 16/05/2020 19:09

Tabitha- Lovely name and too popular
Harlow- It has a nice sound but it does remind me of Essex I'm afraid
Indie- Feels like it needs a longer full name, Indigo?
Eliza- classy, classic, perhaps quite popular in some areas
Penelope- lovely classic name
Eden- lovely name but I've seen mixed reactions to it on mn
Florence- lovely name, love Flo as a nn too

MikeUniformMike · 16/05/2020 19:34

Harlow's not in London. It 's like calling a child Watford or Stevenage, but with that added risk of people thinking it's like Margot and has a silent t at the end.

MikeUniformMike · 16/05/2020 19:57

Or Croydon.
Sienna Miller has a daughter called Marlow or Marlowe.

17caterpillars1mouse · 16/05/2020 20:54

Definitely Eliza, Eden or Florence

I love Florence but its too popular for me to personally use as I prefer rarer names. It is lovely though, but predicted another rise this year with people naming their child after the night gale hospitals

Eden isn't my usual style, but I really like it. It's a bit quirky but sounds lovely. Unlike pp I don't find it tacky at all. I like it both on a girl and a boy

Eliza is cute, but strong. Quite classical and more interesting than Elizabeth

Edenember · 16/05/2020 20:55

I like Eliza, Indie and Florence

drumandthebass · 16/05/2020 21:04

Definitely Florence

BruceWilllis · 16/05/2020 21:04

Tabitha
Penelope
Eden

Have you ever been to Harlow OP? It's a dump.

Malysh · 16/05/2020 21:52

Tabitha - sounds okay to me

Harlow - I don't really like it, makes me think of Harlot or Harley-Davidson...

Indie - sounds like a nickname. I do like India or Indigo though.

Eliza - no issue with it but don't especially love it.

Penelope - I couldn't say why but it sounds really prim and proper - in a bad way. That's just my own prejudice speaking though so don't mind me if you like it.

Eden - I really like it !

Florence - quite common, not amazing but nothing wrong with it.

4Stories · 16/05/2020 21:54

Tabitha and Florence. Not keen on the others.

WildCherryBlossom · 16/05/2020 22:35

Tabitha is my stand our favourite from your list
