Flow with first name and last name

Hi mums! We have a first name that we love for our first little girl but can’t decide if it flows OK with our last name.
The name would be Eva K@vanaugh.

Do the “va” sounds in the first and last name sound strange together? Or does it flow OK?

I think it sounds absolutely fine!

TatianaBis · 14/05/2020 17:07

Oh great another Eva, there won’t be another 2.5 billion of them.

futuristicnow · 14/05/2020 17:09

I do think the sounds are a little bit too close together in my opinion. Do you have any other options or perhaps a middle name? Even though I guess she's end up going by Eva + k@vanaugh during her day to day

LotusClover · 14/05/2020 17:32

I think it's too much. Eve would flow better.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 14/05/2020 18:12

It's too much. It reminds me of Copa Cabana.

Bringmewineandcake · 14/05/2020 18:24

I love it

FawnDrench · 14/05/2020 18:56

Not keen.

Thanks for the feedback!

I think Ava flows better.

Popskipiekin · 14/05/2020 20:56

I think Ava flows better. Agreed. Or what about Ada to avoid the va sound, if you’re concerned. Fwiw I think Eve doesn’t flow well - the sounds stops abruptly before the surname

Malysh · 18/05/2020 14:25

Hmm not sure about this. Maybe Evelyn instead ?

Whatsyourflava · 18/05/2020 15:47

I think it sounds absolutely brilliant @HelenK123
Eva is practically outside the top 200 names. I don't know any

Whatsyourflava · 18/05/2020 15:48

The two names complement each other really well I think. I really think it works really well but usually just wouldn't be a factor for me if a name sounded right with a surname. 99% of the time first name only will be used

daphnerose · 18/05/2020 16:08

I feel there are too many Evas. You could have Evita, Evabeth or Eve.
I feel it doesn't work well
