Just that really, how many middle names are too many?
Have you come a cross anyone with a lot?

My family/friends tend to have no middle name, one middle or two.

What about when you add your partner's name as a middle name - that adds things up too.
Example:
Sarah Louise Elizabeth Williamson (dad's-fake-surname) James (mum's-fake-surname).
Receiving post or filling in forms as Miss S L E W James.

Just feels like a lot.

As a last born child on the way, it is hard not to want to throw every name at her.

Our children all have two middle names. I love it. As a (probably rather weird) child in the 70s I was insanely jealous of the girl in my class who had two middle names - I still remember them, Harriet Edith after her two aunts - while all the rest of us had Jane or Louise. So I always wanted to give my children two meaningful middle names rather than filler names and it happens to be a tradition in my dh's family which was handy.
We chose first names together and then a middle name each for each of our children. All the names are meaningful to us and I still love them.

I have three middle names. It’s too much! Both my dc have only one middle name.

Two is pushing it. Three is too many.
