Baby boy name - struggling

I really need help deciding on a boy name for my only child, a son.

Below are some names that I love but just don’t feel sure on for different reasons.

I think I like fairly long names as he will have a short surname. I like names that are not super unusual but are not too popular.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Theodore (this is my fav, but I think is now quite popular)
Rupert
Tobias
Elliot
Fredrick
William

Love love love Theodore!
Not popular where I live, I haven’t met one, none in my little boys school either.
Tobias, usually shortened to Toby and Rupert are fairly popular here lately. I know several of each born in the last two years that attend a local mum and baby club.

mistermagpie · 09/05/2020 13:16

I deemed Sebastian too long for my son, so maybe it would work for you?

I also love Nathaniel and Benedict in the long name genre.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 09/05/2020 13:18

Nice list.

Casper
Jasper
Marcus
Oscar
Austin
Spencer
Rufus
Alexander
Hector

Frederick is really growing on me lately.

Not Theodore, I thought it was lovely albeit popular. Then IRL I heard a woman introducing her son with the name. She sounded as pretentious as could be! It sounds ridiculous in reality as it turns out.

peperethecat · 09/05/2020 16:40

They're nice names but if you use Frederick make sure you spell it correctly.

Standrewsschool · 09/05/2020 16:41

Love Tobias.

Other names=
Lysander
Sebastien
Alexander
Richard
Tristan
Cornelius
Montgomery
Willoughby
