Beautiful

LilacTree1 · 04/05/2020 23:32

I think it’s a lovely combination.

KatnissMellark · 05/05/2020 00:02

Thanks. It'll be first name/middle name, in case that wasn't clear, not hyphenated or double barrelled.

Delightful. Go for it.

Staffori · 05/05/2020 00:57

Beautiful.

pisspants · 05/05/2020 01:11

I think they are both lovely names but I dont think that they go well together. Sorry OP I know I'm the first to say that. Lana to me is quite a Mediterranean name with a slightly hippy feel whereas Elizabeth is obviously incredibly traditional.

CockblockingCowboy · 05/05/2020 01:14

Go for it!

I have a Lara Emily Smile. Sister is Eliza, so obviously I appreciate your taste in names

CockblockingCowboy · 05/05/2020 01:15

^^ HER sister is Eliza, not mine

RoryGilmoree · 05/05/2020 01:16

That's a lovely name and they go nicely together

AlliKaneSon · 05/05/2020 02:09

Beautiful! My daughter was actually Lara Elizabeth for a day or two, but we changed Elizabeth to Kate Elise.

DramaAlpaca · 05/05/2020 02:16

They are both beautiful names but together they don't flow very well... sorry to say that, but a name ending in 'a' is usually better with a middle name that doesn't start with a vowel. You have to pause between saying Lara and Elizabeth, it doesn't flow naturally. It might not bother you at all, but it's worth pointing out.

arstyfarty · 05/05/2020 02:24

Beautiful!

babynamelover · 05/05/2020 02:29

I'm not a huge fan of Lara it's okay though. I don't think the flow is the best with Elizabeth but you don't use them much together.

Vallmo47 · 05/05/2020 02:43

Love it!

Bluesponge · 05/05/2020 09:21

I love Lara and I love Elizabeth on their own (both were on my long list) but I’m not sure it roles of your tounge and it’s quite hard to say

IdblowJonSnow · 05/05/2020 17:08

I think they are both nice names and sound ok together. I wouldn't overthink it as middle names seldom used and all that.
I really like Lara. What about Lara Betsy?

KatnissMellark · 05/05/2020 17:16

I'm not too worried about how they sound together as they'll never really get used together. Elizabeth is a family name which we'd like to use, and Lara is the name we love.

Really beautiful. Both of those were on our shortlist.

daisypond · 05/05/2020 17:34

Lara is nice but I do prefer it as short for Larissa. Elizabeth is great.

Changedname81 · 05/05/2020 17:53

Personally don’t like Lara but ignore me because I’m clearly in the minority Grin

Whatsyourflava · 05/05/2020 22:53

I adore the names- great choices @KatnissMellark
