Which name?

I already have a dd15 who's name is Ella and a dd5 who's name is Harper.

Now im unsure between a few names because they all have reasons behind them.

Mabel
Heidi
Opal

Heidi is the nicest. Mabel is more in keeping with the other names.

I think Opal depends on where you are from and the accent in the area. The beauty of the name is the lovely O sound at the beginning and many accents don't have the Oh for Opal. Beautiful name though and my favourite from your list, just a consideration as it wouldn't quite work for our accent.

I think Heidi and Mabel are both lovely names but Mabel edges it of the two, for me.

Another vote for Opal, I think it's stunning. I don't mind Heidi, it's quite a sweet name, though it'll always be associated with the book for me. Mabel I don't like at all I'm afraid.

Heidi I think is the best fit with the other two. Mabel and Ella sound quite old ladyish (in a nice way) and Harper very modern. If you choose Heidi all three sound like stand alone names not two the same and one odd one out.

Just adding, Vauxhall is Opel in Germany so Opal is not appealing to me.

Mabel is lovely, Opal reminds me of Opal fruits (showing my age!) or the car Opel. Pearl is similar, but nicer imo.

Mabel for me. I don't like Heidi, not sure why. But Opal reminds me of opal fruits or the car.

Mabel goes best :) Maeve would be pretty and fit even better style wise. Ella & Harper are more modern I think than Heidi, Opal and Mabel.

I dislike Mabel & Opal (old grannie names in my day!) but I think Heidi is lovely.

What do your two girls prefer? Maybe they could choose?
