I personally wouldn't use it but the full name definitely has a ring to it. It sounds nice 😊

daisypond · 03/05/2020 09:37

I like Claudia a lot, but I’m not sure about it with your surname. It’s the repeating C and L that makes it a little hard to say.

Blursula · 03/05/2020 09:45

I love Claudia! And love alliterative names so big yes from me

Chirpychirpy3 · 03/05/2020 09:46

Love it!

toastofthetown · 03/05/2020 09:47

Claudia Cutling is great. I like alliterative names. I’m less of a fan of Faye, though. Is it after someone you know? It blends in with May, Rae etc. and just sounds like a filler middle name to me.

Scenesofprime · 03/05/2020 09:51

Actually, the middle name we're not set on. Open to suggestions.

I like Claudia (out of nosiness, would you pronounce it "Claw-Dia" or "Cloud-ia"?) and think the name sounds nice all together.

Scenesofprime · 03/05/2020 10:09

We'd go for Claw-dia Smile

I would avoid one-syllable middle names generally. Faye is nice, though.
Frances
Phoebe
Elizabeth
Helen

I have always thought Claudia a lovely, gracious name. If you wanted something a bit like Faye it could be

Claudia Mae Cutling

But I don't know about Mae. Or May. Names starting with M are often warm. Like Mia.

Ricekrispie22 · 03/05/2020 10:12

Claudia Jasmine
Claudia Phoebe
Claudia Posey
Claudia Ruby
Claudia Willow

Thank you for the help so far. I'm glad lots like the alliterative name.

Claudia is lovely. It was our first choice but my partner didn't like the meaning. But it's a nice name and quite uncommon these days so if you like it go for it 😊

123Dancewithme · 03/05/2020 11:01

I love alliterative names. Claudia Cutling sounds great.

Koddii · 03/05/2020 11:04

I like it and like the middle name too.

Ilovecats14 · 03/05/2020 11:25

I like it. It has a lovely ring to it, it sounds like an important person's name.

worstwitch18 · 03/05/2020 12:02

It's got a good ring to it.

thatmustbenigelwiththebrie · 03/05/2020 12:47

I love names that have alliteration like Meghan Markle etc.

LotusClover · 03/05/2020 13:09

I don't like alliterative names but this one isn't too bad. I love the name Claudia too.

Pemba · 03/05/2020 15:14

Very nice and elegant and I also like the alliteration! Faye is fine, also quite classy, flows well and a lot more interesting than May.

Scenesofprime · 03/05/2020 15:18

Claudia seems to be the only name that we both like so I'm happy with the feedback thus far. Thanks all

Do you think it would work on a baba as well as a child into adulthood? I think it's strong and still feminine and classic. Cute nn Claudie when she's little too. I really love it!

OP posts:
babasaclover · 03/05/2020 15:32

Love it. How about Claudia Marcella Cutling

Scenesofprime · 03/05/2020 15:36

@babasaclover that's a lovely suggestion, thank you. The only thing is I have a Marcia in the family that I wouldn't want to think baby was named after. Marcella is gorgeous though!

A shorter middle name would flow much better IMO. Up to you obvs!
