Hello ladies Smile

We think we've narrowed down our choice for our baby girl. However my husband and I can't agree:
He likes Sienna Elise Larson
I like Elise Sienna Larson
Or do we choose Imogen which we both would use as a fist name?

Please be kind, feeling pretty unwell in hospital right now and need something to keep me focused bit hopefully people won't hate our choices xx

I like Elise a lot.
Elise Imogen Larson works

I like Imogen a bit less than either Elise or Sienna

LotusClover · 30/04/2020 19:43

Sienna Larson is perfect.

I don't like Elise as it's a bit twee and doesn't go with the surname. Imogen is okay but not my taste. Sienna Imogen would be nice.

Needtheadvice · 30/04/2020 19:48

All three names are beautiful but with the last name in place I agree with others that Elise Larson doesn't flow as nicely as Imogen or Sienna.

87Callista · 30/04/2020 20:49

I don't mind a non-flowing name, I quite like that there's a subtle "pause" between Elise and Larsen it gives them an air of importance. I think Imogen is my fave of the 3 though. Congrats!Flowers

Forget about the combinations for a moment and just think about which name you like best as a first name. That's the name she will use all day every day.

FWIW I think Imogen is lovely and if you and DH both like it equally that would seem a good choice.

I prefer Sienna to Elise, but that doesn't really matter - if you don't like Sienna you shouldn't use it. She's your baby.

I know of a few Imogen’s and Sienna’s. If DS2 was a girl, Elise was one of our top names.

I feel there are less Elise’s around (I could be wrong). I just think it’s beautiful.

I think go with the one you both live rather than compromising :)

Imogen Elise is stunning!

geojojo · 01/05/2020 08:24

I'm now thinking of using Imogen if I ever have another girl! Gorgeous name.

Juliaplus4 · 01/05/2020 22:52

I prefer Elise but I don't think the combination flows. Imogen is lovely as well.

Not a fan of Sienna.

Elise will get called Elsie by mistake, and people will say it as Elleece not Eleeze.

Butterflyz · 04/05/2020 20:46

I'm pretty sure Elise can be pronounced as either! There is no right or wrong.

MikeUniformMike · 04/05/2020 21:41

There was a thread fairly recently about it.
Elise didn't like being called Eleece. It matters if it's your name.

German Elise is more like El-eez-uh, which seems pretty.

Fisher1008 · 04/05/2020 22:15

All pretty names but Imogen Elise is my favourite! Good Luck!
