Sister for Noah

After many posts (sorry all), I've decided Harper, Summer, Luna, Arabella, Annabel, Heidi and Rose aren't what I'm looking for.

Noah was chosen because I absolutely loved the name and still do. I prefer names within the top 100, after growing up with the challenge of an uncommon name myself, I don't wish to put my children through that.

If baby number 2 is a boy I have chosen Jacob.

For a girl I adored Matilda but due to someone close to me using the name recently, morally I feel it would be wrong to use it as a first name.

Many years before I had children I always said I'd have a boy called Noah and a girl called Amelia. After searching long and hard, I'm beginning to wonder if the answer was right there all this time.

It would be love to hear your thoughts on my FINAL two girls names.......

  1. Daisy Matilda
  2. Amelia (Does Amelia Matilda sound nice or would Amelia Tilly sound better?)

Thank you all ❤

Amelia Matilda.

Whatsyourflava · 29/04/2020 22:04

Love both and love Jacob
Excellent choices and it’s very sweet all the thought you’ve put into this

Daisy is gorgeous

clpsmum · 29/04/2020 22:08

I have three boys had they been girls DS2 would have been Matilda and DS3 daisy x

Isadora2007 · 29/04/2020 22:13

I don’t like two “ah” sounds at the end for Noah and Amelia sorry. Same applies to Amelia Matilda (especially as some accents are quite strong on the ah sound)
But what about Amelie? Or Millie?
Amelie Matilda is nice
And Amelie and Noah sound nice together. Not a fan of Daisy sorry.

summersun7 · 29/04/2020 22:34

@Isadora2007 Sorry but Amelie and Millie aren't options for me.

Daisy Matilda is gorgeous! Amelia is waayyy too popular. Amelia Matilda doesn't flow nicely either.

SE13Mummy · 30/04/2020 02:13

Definitely Daisy Matilda!

Mumwith4kidzz · 30/04/2020 03:18

@summersun7 Daisy is an amazing name! I'm not really liking Matilda for a middle name, but if you like it then go for it! Amelia is to common of a name, which I know you wanted but Daisy is much prettier of a name in my opinon. Also Daisy and Noah go good together as names. I hope you get some helpful feedback .

Daisy Matilda is lovely. Amelia Matilda sounds clunky.

Anappleaday1 · 30/04/2020 12:33

I love Amelia and think it goes nicely with Noah. Amelia Matilda doesn't really role off the tongue but it's unlikely you'll use both names together very often. What about Amelia Daisy?

SallyWD · 30/04/2020 12:43

I prefer Daisy to Amelia. I think Daisy is sweet for a little girl then quite cool/bohemian for a teenager and adult. I never understand when people say it doesn't suit an adult. I know a pretty cool woman called Daisy who really suits her name. I feel Amelia is a completely different type of name. A bit posh and formal in my opinion and doesn't really go with Noah. I think Noah and Daisy works really well and I imagine 2 cool kids!

daisypond · 30/04/2020 12:47

Amelia Matilda.

Whatsyourflava · 30/04/2020 13:14
