Harry or Henry for a boy
Katherine or Harriet for a girl.

Joseph or Claire

BlueChampagne · 28/04/2020 11:56

I'd avoid obvious royal pairings like William and Mary, or William and Kate. Probably wouldn't pick Harry either for the same reason.

Anthony
Alexander
Edgar

Susan/Suzanne
Amanda
Second Caroline

Edward seems like a strong match. My other ideas would be Henry or George.

For girls I think Harriet, Isabelle or Amelia would all be lovely. I think longer girls names sit well alongside William x

For a boy, I think Henry, Arthur and Jude sound nice with William.

For a girl, maybe Alice, Isabelle or Emily.

Some really good ideas here thank you! I am so drawn to royal names like Edward and Elizabeth but think it's probably a bit much?!

The Williams we know tend to have a brother called Thomas or Oliver.
If they have a third son, he is George or Edward.

Seriously we know a few families with those names.

RoseMartha · 02/05/2020 20:34

I think Elizabeth is a good strong name op. I dont think it is too much.

Other ideas

Mary
Alexandra
Francesca
Jacqueline

Robert
Nicholas

daisypond · 02/05/2020 21:05

I'd go for another Royal name if that's what your drawn to but not Harry / Henry or Kate / Catherine.
