Sibling name for William

After some advice/thoughts. Really stuck on what to call my second son. My first son is called William and we like traditional style names but it’s surprising how many links the name William has that means we can’t choose certain names (ie: Harry/Henry). We’re thinking of Edward... what do people think??

Oh I came on to say Edward, fantastic classic name!

How funny, my William was originally going to be Edward. I'd think about possible nicknames, eg Eddie, Teddy, Ed and see if you like any of those.
Other classic names are John, James, Oliver, Robert, David, Adam, Benjamin, Daniel, Thomas, Samuel.

Edward is lovely, goes really well

My DD was going to be William if she was a boy, her brother’s name is James

Like Edward a lot.

The Williams I know have brothers called Thomas and Michael.

Coldemort · 27/04/2020 18:17

If you go with Edward you're going to have Bill and Ted.

@Coldemort oh yeah hadn’t thought of that Wine do you think if we had a “bill & ted” people would think we’re silly or chose badly without thinking Hmm or would the boys get laughed at?
