Hi all, hope you’re all keeping safe.

What are your thoughts on this name? It’s not my favorite but the only one me and my partner can agree on at the moment.

My favourite is Xanthe but he doesn’t love this..

I wouldn’t use Myra fir different reasons.

It just isn't really a name is it?

I prefer this spelling, with the y instead of the i. But it seems like Mila is the more widely accepted spelling so I would spell it that way. That being said, I'm not a huge fan of this name as it's a bit modern so it's likely to date. Maya is better as it's more classic.

I had heard of the Lingerie brand but I didn’t know if it was that well known? But it obviously is!

@LotusClover Yes that’s exactly what I was worried about, that it would eventually sound dated.

As for Xanthe, would you all go with a name that your other half didn’t like, or would it be important that they love the name too?

I think they need to like it. There must be a middle ground somewhere. What other names have you both come up with?

I don't like it, sorry. I don't detest it but it's too Mia, Mya, Mila, Tia, Tilly, Milly for me.

It's a nice name but she little too close to Myra especially when you see it written down...agree Mila is better.

Your OH has to at least like it.

Only other name we somewhat agree on is Imogen, but I don’t love it.
