Opinions? Would you say it’s overly popular?

Adore it!! One of my very favourite names.
It’s not overly popular at all in my view.
Number 150 in the official charts but has remained fairly static at around that point in the chart for 25 years (using government statistics). So it’s not on a huge upswing the way other girls names are, like say Ivy or Ottilie for example (love both those names though)

Pretty, not too frilly. Reminds me of the singer Sadie Ama

I love it and I have one, now 8. She loves it too and she’s the only one we know in our area.

I have one, now 17. Likes her name, not aware of others nearby in all her 17 years on the planet!

A nice name and I don't know any at all.

I've known one ( born between the wars) but named Sadie as a nn for Sarah. I love the name actually and it is current without being trendy see also Daphne, Dorothy, Mary, Margot , Peggy, Nancy etc.

It's only overly popular if you're one of those people who want their child to have a totally unique name (but also one that isn't made up, everyone can spell, and has not even the remotest possibly of leading to any kind of teasing at school).

I love it! I posted a thread asking opinions on Sadie almost a week ago and it helped give me the push I needed to use it!
So glad I did as I absolutely love it and I now have a baby Sadie and can’t imagine her being anything else
