Our baby boy is due in 5 weeks, and we still have not chosen his name! I really hope you will be able to help us choose from our "short list":
Damian (nn Dam)
Sebastian (nn Baz)
Victor (nn Vitty)
Dennis (nn Denny / Den)
Zachary (nn Zac)
Vincent (nn Vince)

What are your top 3? Once we can narrow down to these, we can then hopefully choose The One when we finally meet our baby boy. Your general thoughts on the names would be much appreciated too!

Love Sebastian, Baz not so much. Prefer Seb

Vincent, Vince is my favourite out of the whole list.

Sebastian, Zachary or Vincent are really nice
Dennis can end up looking like Penis when written down by a child and it can become a bit of a teasing point (have worked with kids)

I like Victor and Sebastian, although the only nickname I like for Sebastian is Bash. Seb is meh, not keen on Baz as I would assume his name was Barry. The only Sebastian's I have known have been Bash which i think is cool

Sebastian (nn Baz) - quite like but prefer Seb to Baz
Victor (nn Vitty) - hate
Dennis (nn Denny / Den) - hate
Zachary (nn Zac) - don’t mind this
Vincent (nn Vince) - hate

Sebastian, Zachary and then Damian

I love Vincent and love the nickname for it too!

Damian, Victor and Vincent are my top three in that order, Damian first. I don’t like your short versions, though. Dennis could be a grower.

I love Sebastian, but don't like any of the others

Nicknames should emerge naturally in my view, not be decided in advance.

Top 3 (in favourite order) are Zachary, Sebastian (prefer Seb or Bash to Baz) and Damian (not keen on any possible nicknames for Damian though).

Sebastian is the only one I really like, though I prefer Seb, or even Bas, to Baz.

Zachary is the only other name I would consider at all from your list.

Specifying the nicknames is a bit weird at this point, especially when some of them are just dreadful!

Damian (nn Dam) - no and no. Too many Omen connotations. Dam/Damn.
Sebastian (nn Baz) - A Little Lord Fauntleroy-style name
Victor (nn Vitty) - Victor is great. Vitty is awful!
Dennis (nn Denny / Den) - Fine.
Zachary (nn Zac) - Common.
Vincent (nn Vince) - Great.

I like Sebastian and Zachary.

Dennis is great, haven't heard if that in years! Something unexpected. I have an Uncle Dennis and he is a beautiful man.
