Seth

I love Roman that was on our list if we are having a boy but we are having a little girl. Ezra is also one from our list , if that is your style ?
I also like names such as River but my husband said a big no to that!

TheVanguardSix · 20/04/2020 11:27

Of your list, I like Roman the best.

I'll throw Dashiell (Dash) into the hat.

albiongirl · 20/04/2020 11:33

I adore Roman but it's the fastest growing trend in boys names this year, if popularity doesn't bother you, go for it, but I'm gutted about how popular it is and it's putting me off!

Elijah is gorgeous xx

Windyatthebeach · 20/04/2020 11:34

Roan...

pinkpeoniesplease · 20/04/2020 11:34

River.
Rafe.

Xander - love
Ace - love- would sound good with Autumn
Roman - ok but it’s the fastest rising name and very similar to other very popular top 100 names that are also fast risers such as Rowan. I’d avoid especially as celebs are all picking it. Growth is showing no sign of slowing.
Elijah - like

Autumn is still pretty unusual so I’d go for another fairly unusual name like Ace or Asa maybe? There’s two Roman’s at my little NCT group of 8 babies so that might be one to avoid if popularity is an issue.

Other suggestions:

Christopher nn Kit
Wilf(red) nn Wilf
Barnaby nn Barney or Barns
Nathan/Nathaniel nn Nate
Rafferty

Sidney nn Sid
Laurence nn Laurie
Eli (I prefer it to Elijah)
Ellis
Miles / Milo
Seth
Cole
Otis
Eric
Casper
Rudy/Rudi
Dexter
Blake
Angus
Dominic
Idris
Percy
Chester
Caleb
Marley
Austin
Griff
Tristan
River
Bodhi
Otto

@albiongirl yeh the rise of Roman puts me off too. As I said there was 2 in my small NCT group. Now Towie cast seem to all be choosing the name too and Roman Kemp is everywhere, I can’t see the name slowing any time soon sadly.

albiongirl · 20/04/2020 11:45

@Whatsyourflava I'm gutted because I really like it! Still yet to find THE name!

hollycr12 · 20/04/2020 12:25

Thank you whatsyourflava for your lengthy response! I love Xander and Ace so would be tempted to go with ‘Xander Ace ’ does that flow? If I opted for Ace as a first name I’m not entirely sure what I would go for as a middle name? Any suggestions?

My sister in law has a Roman and my bffs sister has a Roman and for some reason I'm really not keen. I feel like it's a name that if isn't lived up to can look a bit silly on the wearer.

I love Xander and Ace from your list.

Whatsyourflava · 20/04/2020 20:31

Xander Ace is a very cool name @hollycr12
Sounds great with Autumn too

Ace would be a great first name alternative though. Could you just use Xander as the middle name in that instance.
