Hello everyone. I am due to have twins in 4 months time. It's come to the time were all me and DH can think about are baby names!!

My all time favourites are Cecilia and Florence. I can't imagine calling them anything else. I love how floral they are and also quite vintagey! I love the nicknames CeCe or Celie and Flo!

DH really likes them but thinks that they might sound (in his words) 'a little bit pathetic together'! What is your guys opinion.. I love them! Xx

Lovely perfect names

Muddlingalongalone · 19/04/2020 01:12

Dd2 has twins with very similar names (100% of one & 90% of other name) and I think they are lovely names separately & together

NuffSaidSam · 19/04/2020 01:56

I think it's a lot of 's' sounds, but other than that they go nicely together.

babynamelover · 19/04/2020 02:34

Lovely 😍

veeboo · 19/04/2020 02:40

Lovely choices! Congratulations

DramaAlpaca · 19/04/2020 02:50

Those names are perfect together.

QueenofDestruction · 19/04/2020 02:53

Lovely together

Astronica · 19/04/2020 05:30

Lovely names. Perfect together.

Zippetydoodahzippetyay · 19/04/2020 05:34

Lovely names. Both were on our short list for our little girl (though we have decided on something else in the end).

ALittleBirdhouse · 19/04/2020 06:17

I think they are lovely. I would consider Cecily and Florence a little easier to say as a pair, but overall very pretty and classic names.

midnightstar66 · 19/04/2020 06:31

Perfect names, I love Ceecee and I know a little Florence who it's just one of those amazing characters that's going far in life so I associate the name with that. Most people call her Flossy though, Flo never took off.

AnyaMoondial · 19/04/2020 06:46

Beautiful names, they do sound good together.

Mother87 · 19/04/2020 11:33

Beautiful

OhMy05 · 19/04/2020 11:39

Yes, agree that they’re both lovely

AdaColeman · 19/04/2020 11:43

Lovely!

mooching · 19/04/2020 11:51

Lovely and very good together. Love Cece (and that spelling) but biased because that's what my niece is called. Florence goes very well with it too.

Whatsyourflava · 19/04/2020 12:35

Really lovely names. I much prefer the name Florence (rather than the harsh S sound in Cecily) but certainly don’t think they sound silly together?

Helenheller · 19/04/2020 13:35

Both are gorgeous.

LittleBoyJuly2020 · 19/04/2020 13:40

Both lovely, my name is Florence and I always receive compliments. I think it's a classic name (as is Cecilia)

Ihaveamind · 19/04/2020 13:43

They go together very well. Best Wishes for the arrival of your daughters Flowers

user1477391263 · 19/04/2020 14:06

They are both nice names and sound lovely together.

LotusClover · 19/04/2020 14:45

Two lovely names. I agree with a poster above that Cecily and Florence sounds much better as a pair. I do prefer Cecily over Cecilia though, so maybe I'm being biased.

GigiLamour · 19/04/2020 14:52

Fab names and they go well together.

I prefer Cecilia over Cecily, personally.

GinasGirl · 19/04/2020 17:45

My friend has a Cecilia (CeCe) and Francesca (Frankie) which is lovely.
We also know other twins Florence and Alice.
All lovely!
