Hi,
We have two gorgeous daughters. They are Ottilie Annabel and Theodora Florence.
Pregnant with third and final baby. Don’t know the gender. Potential girl options are....
Romilly Blossom
Arabella Beatrix
Clover Beatrix

Any thoughts, favourites or alternatives?

My favourite is Romilly but I'm not keen on Blossom as a middle name. It doesn't seem to fit the vibe of the other names. Maybe Romilly Arabella? I don't like Clover at all, partly because it's what I named my childhood rabbit. Beatrix is OK but feels quite harsh sounding compared to the others.

bridgetreilly · 18/04/2020 11:33

Clover would be my favourite choice. I think it's sweet and unusual.

I think Arabella is too similar to Annabel, and I don't really like Romilly.

Standrewsschool · 18/04/2020 11:34

Romilly Beatrix would be my choice.

5LeafPenguin · 18/04/2020 11:36

Romilly Beatrice

florascotia2 · 18/04/2020 11:42

OP how are you pronouncing Ottilie - Ot-teel-y-ah or Ottilee?

If the latter, then Romilly might not be a good choice - you'd have names that ended in the same sound, 'lee'. Not exactly rhyming, but perhaps rather awkward, all the same.

NannyR · 18/04/2020 11:44

I like Romilly Beatrice best.

alwaysmuddy · 18/04/2020 12:02

Ott-ill-ee so yes, bit tricky with Romilly....

I like Romilly but not with sister Ottilie. Is Beatrix an option for first name? Clover Beatrix is my pick from your list.

Blanche
Sybil

I agree, I think Clover is the best choice with your girls names that you already have.

I think your other 2 suggestions are too similar/rhyme with your daughters.

DramaAlpaca · 18/04/2020 14:06

Not Romilly with Ottilie, the endings are too similar.

I like Arabella and Clover, I'd probably choose Clover as it's different in sound to the others and I like that it's a little bit quirky.

matilda2508 · 18/04/2020 15:30

I love arabella, i’m not sure if the middle names make it a bit wordy though. Clover is very cute too, makes me think of a curious, adventurous little girl. Romilly is ok, but chances are she would get called millie or mils for short at school so it depends how you feel about that. I also really don’t like the middle name Blosson, one of Jamie Oliver’s kids has that middle name and his kids have the most awful names imaginable, poor souls. :)

Whatsyourflava · 18/04/2020 16:18

Love the names Ottilie and Theodora

AnnaNimmity · 18/04/2020 16:23

I love Arabella (love your other 2 names too!).

RoryGilmoree · 18/04/2020 16:33

I love your DDs names- they're really gorgeous. I'd probably go with Arabella although I like Romilly too, just not sure it fits with your other dds names. I'm not brave enough to go with Clover and in all honesty it's nowhere near as elegant as your other names

Peachbubble · 18/04/2020 18:21

I like Arabella Beatrix the best.

daisypond · 18/04/2020 19:05

The first two are too similar to your DDs’ names. I like Clover but it has a different feel. Beatrix Clover would be a better fit.

87Callista · 19/04/2020 19:06

Love Romilly and Clover.
Someone mentioned they once had a pet rabbit called Clover and I've known someone personally who had a rabbit called clover. It's a lovely, unusual girl's name but may also be a common pet name?

How about:
Clara Blossom
Esther Beatrix
Bea Arabella
Verity

toastofthetown · 20/04/2020 08:49

Arabella is my favourite from your list. Romilly sounds too similar to Ottilie and I’m not a fan of Clover with your other names. Could you use Beatrix as a first name? That’s my favourite with your girls’ names.

MikeUniformMike · 20/04/2020 09:12

Arabella Beatrix, but I agree with toastofthetown, Beatrix Arabella is nicer. Arabella is a bit too long and would probably be Bella or Ella, both ok but a bit overused.
