Bodhi

theseriousmoonlight · 17/04/2020 23:39

Thanks @Jossina! It's a name my DP likes but I've grown to like too. I think the nicknames are quite cool: Oz, Ozzy, Bert and Bertie.

Torben means 'Thor's bear' or 'thunder bear' though, so I'm leaning towards that.

babynamelover · 18/04/2020 07:53

I like Jethro and Beckett 😊

Lobsterquadrille2 · 18/04/2020 07:56

Obadiah. I know one (he's a year old) and it's really grown on me.

Kerryann1 · 18/04/2020 10:38

What do u think of deacon or donny? That's the only names I have thought of. It's so hard naming your babies. This one will be my third. 😀

Horace
Cevil

Jossina · 18/04/2020 21:48

Please not Donny. Between the current USA President, a word for a big fight (donnybrook) and it being a nickname, it's an all around no.

Deacon is so-so. So long as you aren't Christian ;)

daisypond · 18/04/2020 21:56

Deacon is a rank in the church. A bit like calling your child Vicar.
Donny only if short for Donald.
Clive is unusual these days.

Kerryann1 · 19/04/2020 09:03

Thanks so much for your replies, I never knew deacon was a rank in church! 🙄 I'm really stuck for names. My other two children are called deon and amelia, I would like something that goes nicely with their names xx

I quite like Donny. I know a little Don who is about 3.

A similar name we are considering is Lonnie / Lonny.

BikeRunSki · 19/04/2020 09:11

Eliezer
Zebulon
Eben

Donny to me is the nickname for Doncaster, which is not really a town I’d want to name my child after. But that probably just a S Yorks thing!!

TheVanguardSix · 19/04/2020 09:11

Deon, Amelia, and Arlo
Deon, Amelia, and Aidan
Deon, Amelia, and Odin
Deon, Amelia, and Ellis
Deon, Amelia, and Donovan (Donny)
Deon, Amelia, and Blake

Cnoc · 19/04/2020 09:13

I came across a Benignus in an old graveyard recently.

Kerryann1 · 19/04/2020 09:20

😀 I love some of these suggestions, I never thought it would this hard finding a name for a third child lol x

Deon, Amelia, and Luke

Blake

Roman

Levi

Dante

Whatsyourflava · 19/04/2020 10:02

I really love the name Blake @RickOShay
Roman was the top fastest rising name within the top 100 so definitely one to avoid if you’re wanting anything even remotely unusual- there’s two Roman’s in my Nct group of 7 babies.

Amelia and Deon are lovely names OP @Kerryann1

Kerryann1 · 19/04/2020 10:11

I have a nephew called blake so that's of the cards, I really do like the unusal names, I've looked everywhere and I still cant make a decision, 🙄 I'm defo going to discuss some of these names with my partner and see if he likes any.

And thanks @whatsyourflava, I really do love my other sons name deon, I dobt really know any other deons so it's nice that it's so different. 😀
