If we love Lucia and Rory... what other names should we think about?

My favourite names are Lucia for a little girl and Rory for a little boy. Unfortunately I have close friends who've recently used both! (Well, Rory and Lucy!) So I wouldn't use these.

I also really like Nina for a girl, and we have a Lauchlan from DH previous relationship. Struggling to think of any I love for a boy!

Any other suggestions for classic yet quirky names for us to think about, either boy or girl?

They're both lovely names and definitely to my taste.

I like Owen, Ben and Keir for boys and Hannah, Leah and Anna for girls.

Both of my kids names are in there.

I love Rory! How annoying that you can’t use it.

My friend had the same problem and settled for Riley as an alternative in the end.

Keeping with the ‘Scottish’ theme - Angus or Hamish are alternatives?

Lucia reminds me of names such as Harriet or Beatrice.

Hope that helps. Smile
