I like Orla Grace and Matilda Rose best for a girl.

I know you haven’t listed it as an option, but I like Archie Theodore.

Bobbiepin · 11/04/2020 09:32

Mixing it up as well, I like Orla Maeve and Teddy George

Ughmaybenot · 11/04/2020 09:36

Alice Rose, and George Thomas.
I don’t like orla, partly because it’s always autocorrected to oral and partly because it reminds me personally of orf, A sheep illness. Maeve feels a bit old-lady to my ear. Matilda is nice too tho.
The other boys names all feel a bit faddy, sorry.

123Dancewithme · 11/04/2020 10:16

Alice Maeve and George Thomas

BabynameKiwi · 11/04/2020 10:22

I like Orla Rose and Theodore George.
Orla Rosalind/Rosemary would be nice too :)

whatausername · 11/04/2020 10:53

Matilda Rosalind. Rose is a filler middle name atm. It is fine if you happen to like Rose anyway but if, and only if it were me, I'd feel like I'd just given a middle name for the sake of it. I might be odd though ;-) Middle names are a good way to honour someone's memory or go all out and use something you couldn't use as a first name.

whatausername · 11/04/2020 10:56

I like George Theodore and Thomas George. Or John, nobody uses John! Or Marcus. Thomas George has a good ring to it (Tommy George?), cute on a kid, fine as a teen, solid name as an adult, bit of gravitas too!

Mimi91 · 11/04/2020 11:50

@whatausername love the name John, it's my dad's name and the middle name of our nephew. Also a few John's on my DH's side. Would love to see a comeback for John as a first name 😍

Thanks for all your opinions and suggestions so far!

I love Teddy George.
How about
Thomas George
Leo George
George William
Toby James

Matilda Grace.
Matilda Louise
Matilda Florence
Matilda Jane
Matilda Abigail
Alice Bethan
Penelope Alice
Poppy Alice

whatausername · 11/04/2020 12:15

John George? John Theodore? Or do you think you've enough Johns in your family?

Peachbubble · 11/04/2020 14:00

Alice Rose
George Thomas

DramaAlpaca · 11/04/2020 14:31

George Thomas for a boy.
Alice Maeve for a girl.
Or mixing them up, Matilda Maeve.

sel2223 · 11/04/2020 15:52

Orla Grace and Theodore George from your options

Whatsyourflava · 11/04/2020 15:54

Love love love all your boy and girl names 🙈

Callybrid · 11/04/2020 18:59

Alice Matilda
George Theodore

user1493494961 · 11/04/2020 19:06

Matilda Rose or Alice Rose, George Thomas

MikeUniformMike · 11/04/2020 20:50

I definitely refer Alice and George.

Rose and Grace are overused as middle names. They're nice but overused. Maeve is nice but I'm not sure how to say it.

I don't like Theodore or Archie at all. I like Thomas.

MeMeMeYou · 11/04/2020 20:54

Alice Rose or George Thomas are my faves

MeMeMeYou · 11/04/2020 20:55

Or Thomas George, even

userabcname · 11/04/2020 21:02

Matilda Rose or George Theodore.

17caterpillars1mouse · 11/04/2020 21:10

Orla Grace - though Orla Alice would be pretty or Maeve Alice

Theodore George though I dislike Teddy. I like Thomas best from the boys names

Mimi91 · 11/04/2020 22:36

Thanks everyone ☺️ love some of the suggestions too.

If you love John how about Jonathan ?

I like Matilda or Maeve in your girl's names. Not keen on Orla, feels like a bit of a tongue twister (english not my first language) and doesn't have any good nickname option I can think of.

I like Theodore (nickname Theo). Thomas is fine though very ordinary. George, a bit boring.

MollyPea · 12/04/2020 20:06

I feel like every little boy I know < 3yo is called Teddy, Archie or George
