Worried we won't ever decide on a girls name!

4 months to go and we can't decide on a name. I had a long list of boys names I loved but had maybe one girls name, so of course it's a girl! I had a hard enough time naming my first daughter.

I have a 10 year old named Georgia, we live in the US and this name is not as popular as it seems to be in the UK.

Can you help with name suggestions? We don't like common and would like something unique/unusual but not to out there.

Here is our list so far, I'm not sure I even really like any of these I just don't hate them so they made the list!

I've just suggested this on another thread and it might suit - it seems to me to have tthe same vibe as some of the ones you have, but it's actually a very old traditional female name.

I don't like any of them to be honest, they all seem very unisex, but if you're in the US, you'll know what works there.

I like unisex names, though I'm quite ignorant on US names.

Your list does sound a bit surname-y to me, but if that's what you like you should go for it.

Ashton reminds me of a character in "North and South" and it was a female character so I don't see it necessarily as a boy's name.

How about Alexis ? It's a boy's name in my country but I know it's used as a girl's name in the US.

Or, is there a boy's name you love that has a feminine equivalent or similar sound ? For instance, if you like Henry - how about Harriet or Henrietta ?

I love Harper! Such a lovely name

Blaise is nice.

The rest of those names sound like the stereotypical American names that we dont 'see' or get.

Eg, McKenna. I think of Paul McKenna the hypnotist.

Harper makes me think of a harpie.

I have very different taste but i like Georgia.

I think a name that is classic enough to sound like Georgia's sister but American enough to fit in with your list.... hmm! Challenge.

If you like surnames, these are softer sounding than harper.

Hayley is ok but a bit bland. Prefer Hazel. Has more charisma!
